Overview
The classic northern route, slowed down and built for two.
A honeymoon safari is a different animal to a first safari. The parks are the same; the pacing is not. We stretch the mornings, cut the driving where we can, and choose lodges for the view from the bed as much as the proximity to a gate.
The route still covers the north properly, from Tarangire's elephants and two Serengeti days to a scenic transition through Manyara or the highlands, with the Ngorongoro Crater as the finale. But the vehicle is yours alone, so nothing runs to a group's clock.
We arrange the quiet things without being asked: a private bush breakfast, a sundowner set up somewhere with nobody else in sight, dinner moved outside when the night is right for it.

HOW THE JOURNEY UNFOLDS
- 01
Arrive in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha and settle into your lodge, with the evening free to rest before the safari begins.
- 02
Tarangire National Park
A relaxed game drive day in Tarangire, following the elephant herds along the river and stopping wherever the baobab light asks you to.
- 03
Toward the Serengeti
Transfer to the Serengeti with wildlife viewing en route, arriving in time to settle in before an afternoon drive.
- 04
A full day in the Serengeti
A whole day on the plains at your own pace, with big cats in the cool hours, a private bush lunch, and camp time when the sun is high.
- 05
A scenic transition
A slow, beautiful travel day toward the Ngorongoro side, often via Lake Manyara or through the highland farms and forest above the Rift.
- 06
Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a signature wildlife day on the caldera floor, closing with sundowners on the rim.
- 07
Return to Arusha
A final unhurried breakfast, then the drive back through Karatu and the Rift Valley to Arusha for departure.
