Four parks across seven days, and the definitive introduction to northern Tanzania.
If you take one safari in your life, this is the shape it should have. Tarangire's baobab country, the escarpment and lake systems of the Rift, the Serengeti's open plains and the Ngorongoro Crater, four utterly different landscapes inside a single week.
The pacing matters as much as the parks. Drive days are kept short enough that nobody arrives at the lodge worn out, and the Serengeti gets two full nights so a good sighting can be returned to rather than abandoned for the next thing.
It works in every season. In the green months the crowds thin and the light turns dramatic; in the dry months the game concentrates around water and the sightings come thick and fast.

HOW THE JOURNEY UNFOLDS

Arrive in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha, transfer to your lodge and meet your guide over dinner for a route briefing and vehicle set-up.

Tarangire National Park
A full day of game drives in Tarangire, where elephant herds gather along the river and the baobabs make the frames people fly here for.
- 03
Lake Manyara and the escarpment
A scenic day at Lake Manyara and through the escarpment region, with groundwater forest, birdlife along the shoreline and long views over the Rift as you move toward the Serengeti approach.
- 04
Into the Serengeti
Enter the Serengeti and begin with an afternoon game drive across the plains as the light drops and the predators begin to move.
- 05
A full day in the Serengeti
Morning and afternoon drives through the most productive parts of the park, with a long break in camp during the heat of the day.
- 06
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
A final morning game drive, then transfer east into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, overnighting within reach of the crater rim.
- 07
Ngorongoro Crater and return
Descend into the crater for a full game drive on the caldera floor, then ascend and return to Arusha for your onward arrangements.
